Dog Memory Book
Most dog memory books capture how your dog looked. CanineQ captures who your dog is becoming — a remembered story powered by AI and the moments you share.

A printed album freezes time. CanineQ keeps telling the story.
What makes it a living memory book
The story is built from things your dog actually does, interpreted through the science of canine cognition.
AI video and photo analysis
Upload a clip and DognitionGPT describes what it sees — body language, attention, play style — in the context of your dog's cognitive profile.
A new chapter every month
Each chapter weaves together assessment results, weekly challenge performance, check-ins, and uploaded moments into a story that reads like a real account of your dog.
Timestamps, not templates
Every chapter references real dates and observed behavior. Swap the name and it would not make sense, because the events happened to your dog.
Grounded in nine cognitive profiles
The story is told through the lens of your dog's cognitive style — Ace, Charmer, Socialite, Expert, Renaissance Dog, and the rest — so it explains why your dog does what they do.
Read a real chapter
This is how Juniper's chapter reads after a month of weekly challenges, uploaded clips and assessment data. It is a story only Juniper could have written.

Juniper's Story
When we first met Juniper back in the spring, she was a hesitator. Give her a new problem and she'd circle it, glance at you, circle again — checking whether you'd solve it for her before she committed. We noted it in almost every early clip: a dog who looked to her person first and the puzzle second.
This month, something turned over.
In the puzzle-feeder challenge on the 9th, she didn't look up once. She worked the sliding panel with her nose, missed, reset herself, and went back in — three times, no glance for help — until it opened. For a dog whose whole spring was ‘is someone going to help me?’, that's not a better score. It's a different dog. The independence that showed up faintly in her assessment as an Ace, the Independent Problem-Solver, is now something she does, not just something she is.
Next month: she's cracked the sliding puzzle. The two-step latch is waiting. Our bet is she doesn't glance at you once.
Their story is still being written. Every moment you share adds to it.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a living dog memory book?
- A living memory book keeps writing itself as you share moments with your dog. Instead of a finished album, it is an ongoing story that gets richer every month.
- Does CanineQ print a physical book?
- Not today. CanineQ is a digital story inside the app, designed to stay current as your dog grows. You can read it, share it, and export text any time.
- What kinds of moments become part of the story?
- Anything you upload or the app observes: a video of your dog solving a puzzle, a daily walk logged in check-ins, a weekly challenge result, or a shift noted in an AI insight report.
- Is the story written by AI?
- AI helps organize, interpret and narrate the moments, but the events are real observations of your dog. The result reads as a remembered account, not a generic template.
- Can I see a sample chapter?
- Yes. We published a sample chapter for Juniper, a real assessed dog, so you can see what the monthly story looks like before you start your own.
